Skambankt

Skambankt Beaten to a pulp or beaten up is a Norwegian hard rock band from Klepp just south of Stavanger. They started up by coincident in 1994 when there was a cancellation at a festival they were at.

Part of the bands popularity is attributable to the fact that frontman Terje Winterstø Røthing is also a member of Kaizers Orchestra a chart-topping Norwegian alternative rock band in which he goes by the alias Killmaster Kaizer and plays guitar.

After a couple of hours the band had written nine songs that were performed the same night as replacement. Initially the bands image and sound was inclined towards politically charged punk rock but after their revival they gradually transitioned into hard rock similar to that of Motörhead albeit with noticeable influence from punk rock bands such as the Sex Pistols the Ramones The Stooges and other punk rock bands. 9 hours agoSkambankt vart starta på 90-talet då eit anna band ikkje kunne stille på ein spelejobb på Klepp Rockeklubb. Skambankt hardrock bandet fra Jæren i Rogaland bekrefter nå den overraskende nyheten via bla et eget innlegg nettopp publisert på deres offisielle facebookside som kan sees nedenfor at bandet bandet nå oppløses og legger ut på en omfattende avskjedsturnè. The lights were down and a white strobe flashed across the auditorium as the feedback from the monitors rang out and the band ran on stage in their all black military costumes.
